1. What data we collect

• Student names, school email addresses, and class membership
• Teacher names, email addresses, and role (e.g. school admin)
• Assignment progress, XP scores, and activity timestamps

2. Why we collect it

This data is used to manage assignments, track progress, and allow teachers to view learning insights. We only collect the minimum data needed for these educational purposes.

3. How we protect your data

• All passwords are securely hashed and never stored in plain text.
• All access is controlled by teacher or student login credentials.
• Data is stored on GDPR-compliant servers and transmitted using HTTPS encryption.

4. Who can see your data

• Students can view only their own data and assignments.
• Teachers and school admins can view data for students within their school.
• No data is shared with third parties outside the school.

5. Data retention and deletion

Data is retained only while a student or teacher account is active. When accounts are deleted, all related progress and assignment data are permanently removed from our systems.

6. Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data. To do so, please contact your school or the iMedia Hub administrator.
